這份錄音是為了慶祝法蘭克辛納屈一百歲誕辰而發行，專輯中的錄音以往都未以錄音的形式發行，因為這些都是在1935-55年間辛納屈為了電台廣播或彩排時錄下的。辛納屈被奉為＂美國第一位青少年偶像＂，從這一點就可以說明他在當時的聲勢，雖然，隨著歲月流逝，那些當年奉他為偶像的青少年如今也都已是退休之齡的爺爺奶奶，但辛納屈之後靠著黃金嗓音，歷經搖滾、迪斯可年代而不衰，甚至還靠電影《教父》等片的電影主題曲再度於五十年後翻紅，都說明辛納屈不朽的地位。
要收集這套合輯中的錄音，可以說是費盡了製作人的心力，因為這些廣播錄音是從美國各個收集了當時電台錄音的檔案資料庫中，翻箱倒櫃一間間去搜尋出來的。製作人翻遍了美國國會圖書館、林肯中心的紐約表演藝術公立圖書館、裴利媒體中心（Paley）、麥可費因斯坦偉大美國歌曲集檔案資料庫、以及柯羅拉多大學的葛倫密勒檔案資料庫。而且這些錄音因為都是以早期的錄音媒材錄製，材料非常脆弱，難以保存和重製，因此還要經過一番功夫，才能將之轉錄成數位音檔，再經過高解析度的數位處理成現代化的聲音。
1935-55是法蘭克辛納屈歌唱生涯的第一個階段，當時還是爵士大搖擺樂團的年代，辛納屈從爵士歌手起家，但在六零年代以後，爵士面臨貓王等搖滾樂手的挑戰，逼使辛納屈等前一代的偶像歌手也要轉型面對挑戰，大部份人所熟悉的辛納屈歌聲和抒情演唱風格，主要就是來自他轉型後、調整市場定位的歌聲，但很少人認識在轉型前他最早享譽爵士樂壇的歌聲風格，這套錄音，就提供了這樣難得的機會。
法蘭克辛納屈在1939年與RCA唱片公司簽約，中間歷經13年，到1952年都一直在這裡，他一生共錄了一千兩百多首歌曲，數量雖多，但還是有很多滄海遺珠，是他可能在演唱會或廣播中唱過，但卻沒有機會錄成唱片的，因此，能夠獲得這些廣播錄音，對於瞭解辛納屈歌曲的多樣面相，是一個相當重要的發現。同時，對於喜愛他溫柔嗓音的樂迷而言，也是欣賞和重溫他那毫不費力，輕鬆優雅歌聲的寶貴收藏。另外這裡面我們還能聽到多份辛納屈在1942-44年間以無伴奏重唱方式演唱的歌曲。片中我們還能聽到辛納屈和許多樂壇巨星的合作，包括納金高、路易阿姆斯壯、平克勞斯貝、茱蒂迦倫（電影《綠野仙蹤》女主角）、喜劇泰斗鮑伯霍伯等等。
