專輯是由「火紅組織」（Red Hot）與Sony唱片公司合作發行。藉由來自世界各地之演奏家、製作人、DJ，以及
藝術家之手，透過當代音樂的多樣風貌與不同面向，「音樂之父」巴哈（Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685 -
1750）兩百多年前的世紀傑作，正藉由無窮的新鮮活力與現代精湛的琴藝獲得轉型。
「火紅組織」是一個非營利性的製作公司，從事與本集之概念類似的工作已經長達二十五年。他們改變了人們對
音樂既有的看法與想法，例如他們發行 《火紅里約》（Red Hot + Rio）重新詮釋Anthony Carlos Jobim的作
品，發行《火紅藍調》（Red Hot + Blue）詮釋Cole Porter的作品，發行《火紅酷派》（Red Hot + Cool）將爵
士與嘻哈音樂結合，《火紅靛藍》（Red Hot + Indigo）詮釋艾靈頓公爵（Duke Ellington）的作品，《火紅暴
動》（Red Hot + Riot）詮釋Fela Kuti 的作品。此外，他們還曾經為了社會公益，倡導對抗愛滋病。
本集《火紅巴哈》中，所有參與者將巴哈視為依然在世的音樂原動力，真實且具有活力。編曲與演出者包括了曼
馱林演奏名家Chris Thile、歌手與創作者Gabriel Kahane與Shara Worden、爵士傳奇大師Ron Carter、DJ與製
作人King Britt、冰島樂團amiina，以及古典樂作曲家馬克斯‧李希特（Max Richter）、克羅諾斯四重奏
（Kronos Quartet）、小提琴演奏家霍普（Daniel Hope）及管風琴演奏家卡本特（Cameron Carpenter）。
